Miguel Jacq is a French-Australian writer.

He lives in Melbourne, Australia where he runs (some say ruins) an I.T business.

His poetry has been published by The Blue Hour Press, Dagda,

In 2013 his poem Nine Year Microwave Sky was shortlisted

for the Australian Poetry Science Poetry Prize.


June 2016 - A poem 'flower of distant season', penned in Feb, was shortlisted for the Nillumbik Ekphrasis Poetry Award.

May 2016 - A poem '>>', penned in Feb, was published in the inaugural issue of Half Mystic.

February 2016 - Have essentially quit the 'submissions' game. Thanks to all who published me. I may post a thing or two here every now and then.

December 2015 - Published on Verity La.

May 2014 - Published in Issue 3 of PRISM Journal.

2014 - Less writing, more co-editing of The Blue Hour Magazine and related anthologies.

October 2013 - Shortlisted for the Australian Poetry Science Poetry Prize.

September 2013 - Two reviews of my collection 'Magnetics'.

August 2013 - one of seven performers to feature at the StKilda StripFest, 'Pillow Talk Poems' cake-themed event. My first and only spoken word experience. Terrifying.

July 2013 - self-published 'Magnetics'. Early and embarassing work.

Pre-July 2013 - published in most of the places not already mentioned here (Kind of a Hurricane, Vox Poetica, Blue Hour, Dagda etc).
